31 Days Big Project Plans

31 Days Big Project Plans

So, remember on Day 1 when I said I was going to sit down and make my list of what it will take to Bring this Home to Order?

Well, I did that and on that list was my Craft Room, aka The Random Room.  {My son named it the Random Room because well, all kinds of random things take place in there.}

I decided that there is no way to get this room done in one day, it’s just too much.  I needed to be realistic about it. So for today I made a plan to get it in order.  I think this is a very important step when tackling a BIG job that can easily make me feel over whelmed.

Are you ready to see a picture of this mess?? Remember, this is for accountability purposes not judgement!

 Here is what I came up with for this room:

  • Give my sister her table back, I’m only piling stuff on it
  • Get rid of items that I’ve had for years and still haven’t done anything with
  • Organize craft supplies into something cute
  • Make an area for often used household tools
  • Video filming area for daughters YouTube video’s, if possible
  • Gift wrap station

My plan is to start from the top of the list and make my way down.  The goal is to show you the reveal as part of this 31 Days series. It will be at the end of the month.  In the meantime, you can see where some of my inspiration comes from for this space if you visit my Pinterest Boards {and follow :)}

  1. Thank you! My husband and I installed the hardwood flooring ourselves but contracted out the sanding and staining 🙂

  2. I’m with you Jena, I’ve closed that door MANY times! Trying to make it a pleasant place to create! I have BIG plans.

  3. I have a similar looking room that I have just been shutting the door and pretending it isn’t there :). That’s a great idea to put together a plan! I’m so guilty of getting overwhelmed by the prospect and not starting at all.
