Spring Table

I’m not one to decorate with pastels so when I started to work on my spring table I went with what I love!

Naturals mixed with a bold black and white and a little moss…devine!

It’s always best to go with your gut instead of what you think is the right way to decorate or what you see everyone else doing! Be brave and use what you love.

I don’t usually decorate my kitchen table because we use it everyday but since my Farmhouse Table Makeover I was dying to spruce her up with a little spring goodness!

I searched around my house for all of these items. I didn’t buy anything but if I needed too it would have been very affordable. The black and white is a yard of fabric I had in my stash. I just folded it like a runner to lay down the center of the table. The ceramic bunnies were thrift store finds and of course I painted them with white spray paint.

I used raffia as ribbon by wrapping it around the black candle stand a few times before I tied it off. The natural wicker balls were a touch to add some natural touches to the centerpiece.

My daughter came home from school and said, she loved it SO I count that as a win!  If you have missed it, I have mentioned in my Natural Spring Wreath post AND my Spring Wreath for Indoors post that I have Spring Fever!

  1. Sonya, I just saw your beautiful Spring table on Pinterest and had to stop by and say how much I love it!! Love the green and black. So cute! The grapevine balls look sweet on the “grass”. Great job! Happy Spring! 🙂

  2. I just love your spring table, Sonya. I’m a sucker for anything with black, white and green mixed together. You’re so right about going with your gut and not trying to copy everyone else. That’s a trap that’s so easy to fall into! Thank you for linking up to the Swing Into Spring party!

  3. I adore your tablescape for spring and that you chose blacks, whites and greens instead of traditional pastels. Cute bunny too!

  4. You are so ready for Spring! Moss and bunnies … such a nice vignette!

I host a weekly link party called Seasonal Sundays. I’d love to have you link your post. The link goes up at 7 pm EST on Saturday. Hope to see you then.

  6. I love how the moss pops against your black and white fabric. The white rabbits and natural looking balls look like spring without the expected spring pastels. Love this!
