Haven Conference Recap:
Last Thursday I headed out to Atlanta to spend 3 days filling my brain with blogging knowledge and my heart with wonderful friends at Haven Conference. In case you don’t know, Haven is a place for DIY bloggers to meet up, share laughs and real life stories all while doing DIY projects, talking home decor and learning how to become better bloggers.
It is a jam packed 3 days.
Blogging has brought many great opportunities to me such as writing/contributing, originally at ForRent.com now currently with Homes.com. I am so blessed!
Thanks Gillian, Amber and Maria~ you girls rock!
If you’d like to see what it means to write for someone else, you can check out my post on the Homes.com site. To see more post I have written once you are there, you can just click on my name.
Here I am with Gillian and Amber sporting some #brandlove with our orange and blue!
There were some great sponsor’s who hosted some fun parties so we could mingle and meet other bloggers in real life. It was so fun.
Although blogging is one of the best “jobs” I’ve ever had, it has been the toughest! Making connections with other bloggers is so important. We talk online so often, but meeting face to face can’t be beat! I wish I could name everyone I talked to and there were some I totally missed BUT all in all it was a great success.
The Haven sponsors are the BEST!! I came home with so many awesome new products and great ideas on how to use them! Who doesn’t love free stuff, right!
All of this was given to us at registration…so much more was given out during the conference!
I was also chosen to compete in the Ballard Designs coffee table challenge…and my team won! A $100 gift card to Ballard Designs was given to each team member! Thanks to everyone of you who voted when I posted about it on my facebook and Instagram!
Lots of beautiful spaces were set up for us to enjoy!
So, besides all of the free stuff and hanging with all of my blogging pals, I came home inspired. The classes I attended were all taught by wonderful people and I can’t wait to implement lots of what I learned.
I am filled with ideas to make my blog better! To build it into a place that you all, my awesome readers, want to come and want to share with your friends! I have so many project ideas that I can’t get them down on paper fast enough.
Now, I must go paint 🙂
