I think we can all agree that Christmas at night is the absolute best. The lights aglow make everything seem magical.

Thanks to my friend Rachel from Maison de Pax for organizing this tour each year. I am honored to be included with such talented bloggers. Each of them blow me away with their decorating skills.

If we have never met here on the blog, my name is Sonya Barker. I created At Home with The Barkers in 2013. My style can best be described as refined rustic. I like touches of colonial and a little farmhouse. So look around at my home tour when you have extra time.

Now let’s take a look at my Christmas decor at night…

Most of my decor is almost the same from year to year. I do however change up my mantel decor and the ornaments I use on my tree. This year though I added a small tree in my hall bathroom and it has been a favorite of the entire family. It’s recent makeover works perfect with Christmas lights.

So let’s start there…my favorite decorated room of this holiday season.

Next up is the dining room. I like to do a creative piece each season and the branch art is this years project.

Our living room is where we have a family tree with the presents. I have always used an artificial tree because of allergies. I changed the fabric topper on my DIY drop cloth stockings this year.

The final room I want to share with you is my master bedroom. It’s the most simple but the coziest. I hope that you can see how simple little touches are all it takes to make a home holiday ready.
