After working on getting the back yard all cleaned up this past week, we totally deserved a party. The S’more Dessert Bar was a perfect way to celebrate and spend time with friends by the fire pit.
I made a simple table set up with supplies I already had at home. No need to spend money on decorating when you can spend money on extra chocolates for the S’mores 😉
I covered a pop up table with a white table cloth. Then I took black and white striped gift wrap and made a table runner. I cut it to length, then cut that in half in order to make it a runner. I attached it with some painters tape.
To set up the s’more dessert bar I looked through my serving supplies and picked items to go along with the red, black and white theme I had decided on. Then I gathered all of my food supplies that I had purchased at Walmart. (I know, I talk about Walmart often…I go there because of their everyday low prices!) While I was at Walmart I also picked up some Wet-Nap wipes because no matter how old you are s’mores are messy.
***Be sure to grab your fifty five cents ($.55) off of any Wet-Nap product coupon (while supplies last)
This s’more dessert bar was a huge success with this group of teens!
Once I had it all set up my son and his friends got the fire going.
By the time the fire was going nicely it was s’more time! We had a blast…a messy one too! The Wet-Nap wipes worked so great getting that sticky marshmallow off. Even the boys commented on how they were like real cloth.
This picture cracks me up, I should enter in the contest…
You should all enter the Most Original Mess Contest that Wet-Nap is currently running. Participants can upload a photo entry of their messy kids and share the link across social media. The photo with the most votes wins a $1,000 giftcard to Walmart and a year’s supply of product. Voting will close on June 16. You can see more at: http://contest.wetnap.com/
Have a great week,
