Fall Home Tour
Welcome to Fall!
I have to say, I love Fall! It is my favorite season of all!
There’s falling leaves, cool temps and college football! {Clemson Tigers!!}
So when I was selected to participate in the All Things Home Fall Tour, I was super excited!
Along with 24 other very talented bloggers ( link to the full schedule at the bottom of the post)
I get the chance to show some southern hospitality and welcome you into our home!
Please come in, I’m so glad you are here!
I have used this grapevine wreath for a few years.
I just change it up through out the year to reflect the season.
The Dining Room:
This room is a fun room.
I love the bold red and black.
So I wanted my Fall decor to be bold yet not too overwhelming.
It started with the Aged Zinc Pumpkin…{tutorial here}
Then I got carried away and had 3 Options for a centerpiece…{see all 3 Options here}
The stained wood “tray” I built from scraps of wood in my husbands shed.
Yep, I used a kreg jig and all!
This gold stud pumpkin came on the scene after I had taken all my pics for the dining room!
But I had to show you how cute it is!! Just added some gold thumb tacks to my faux zinc pumpkin.
The Family Room:
The place where we hang out, lounge and watch football!
Did I mention WE LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL!
My daughter says when she is older she will replace Erin Andrews and Sam Ponder 😉
This room started with the Framed Burlap and Book Pages Project…{tutorial here}
AND of course, pumpkins are the perfect Clemson orange!
The little silver bowl with the green ball was .50 from a thrift store!
MOST all of my home accessories are found from yard sales and thrift stores.
This stool was a recent yard sale find $4 and the tray was silver but I spray painted it.
The sequins flowers on this wreath are part of my daughters fabric collection.
We bought those last summer at Mood Fabric in NYC.
I attached them with straight pins so not to damage them.
I used my burlap tote bag that I received from Haven Conference as a place to store my blankets.
The Kitchen:
Where I used a small rug as a table runner 🙂
Fresh flowers, too!
AND food…those aren’t just props, they’re really for eating!
OH, and that South Carolina painting…I made that…squeal!!
It’s BIG…48×38 which is exactly what that wall needed!
If you follow me on Instagram you saw a fun sneak peek already. {Instagram follow here}
You can never have too many fresh flowers, especially for the Walmart price!
The Girls Room:
The place where a thirteen year old girl decorated all by herself!
She makes me proud!
The Outside:
The antique Covey Cooler I found at a yard sale! $8!!
My husband works from home so we try to go sit together on the deck during lunch whenever possible.
I really loved having you look around at the Fall Decor

Your dining set is absolutely amazing!!! Just gorgeous. I have to say though, my fave photo is the one with the flowers hanging from the chair. It’s so sweet and simple … I pinned it! Sharing your home tour on my Facebook page today!
You did such a great job with all of your fall decor, Sonya! Everything looks so pretty and inviting. I enjoyed your fall tour very much. BTW – great use of your tote from Haven!
Oh, and tell your daughter that she has a flair for decorating!
I love all the simple, natural touches you added! And I’ll look past the Clemson items thrown in the mix… 🙂
Hi Sonya,
I really felt at home reading all the Clemson Tiger references and seeing the SC map! I grew up near Clemson and went to Clemson back in the 70s and love it dearly! After seeing how you used your Haven tote, I’m going to pull mine out and do something similar! Loved seeing all your fall decorations!
Oh yes yes yes…love this!! Using a rug for a runner…genius!!
You have a Beautiful home.
Love your Fall touches.

You are too sweet Richella, Thank you! Duke and UNC…those are some smart boys you have there! Hope you have a great weekend! ~Sonya
Sonya, your home looks wonderful!! So y’all are college football fans, huh? We’re mostly into college basketball (we live in Durham, NC; one son went to Duke and another to UNC-Chapel Hill), but we love NFL, so we’re always glad for the fall to roll around!
You are brilliant to use your Haven tote like that. I think I may have to copy you on that one. And the rug as a table runner? Also brilliant!
Thanks so much for opening your home!
You’re really sweet Stephanie! Thank you for stopping by to look around ~Sonya
Thanks so much Pam! That scale is one of my favorite thrifted pieces…my sister actually got that for me from a sale many years ago. Thanks for stopping ny my blog, have a great weekend! ~Sonya
