Summer Home Tour
Happy Friday Friends
and Welcome to Summer!
Today I want to share my Summer Home Tour with you all.
I have been ohhing and ahhing all week, looking thru all of the homes on the Summer Tour of Homes, hosted by Gina at The Shabby Creek Cottage.
My husband and I are working on some curb appeal but here is our house currently…
(New shutters are now up! Link to see them is at the end of the post.)
FYI…That stray Crepe Myrtle that has bloomed by the garage window will be getting moved this week.
I always love having a letter B on my wreath. I make them myself.
Nothing fancy, just grapevine wreath, some floral, burlap, wooden letter and scrapbook paper.
If you are new here I would LOVE to have you subscribe to the blog…I have so many post coming up! Just add your email in the box at the top of the page! It’s easy! Here is a sneak peak of my Teen Girl Room Makeover…
Here are the direct links to some of the projects you saw in the pictures: Family Room and Kitchen Tour, Spray Painted Dining Room Table, Chandelier Makeover

Thanks for Stopping by for a Summer Home Tour of most of our main living spaces. One of these days I may get the rest of the house clean enough for pictures!

So comfortable and welcoming – thanks for sharing!
Thank you Angela for the follow! Can I ask, did you try to subscribe to my blog or follow somewhere else? I found a broken link on my subscribe box this morning 🙁 so I set it back to the plain default one for now.
Thanks so much Marie for your sweet words! I tend to always lean toward the red 🙂 Do you have a favorite color you can’t deviate from?
Heading to check out your blog!
Thank you Stacey! I love that fabric. That was one of my great fabric finds! Thanks for following, I’m heading to your blog now 🙂
I love you Bo! I’m glad you find some distractions in looking around my blog. You are constantly in my prayers my friend!
Thanks for taking a look around Nancy! The shutters are primed and ready for paint, I just need it to stop raining!
Your home is so beautiful Sonya! Can’t wait to see the new shutters your hubby risked his life for! 😉 lol Know they will be great! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
Hope you have a great weekend friend!

sONYA, thanks for sharing your beautiful home. Your home has a peaceful and graceful vibe. I love everything you have done. I must say I covet the vintage scale that your bowl of lemons is setting on! Also that Crepe Myrtle can be transplanted to my yard! 🙂 Thanks for your prayers; your home tour was a good distraction for me. You are Forever my Friend!
I really like your home and your style! That red and white houndstooth is awesome! I’ll have to try to incorporate that somewhere.
Going to become a follower for sure. 🙂
Hi Sonya, I’m a first time visitor to your blog, thanks to Gina. Your home is lovely! I love the pops of red throughout and I like your idea of placing a monogram in your front door wreath. Thanks for sharing your home on the tour with us!
Absolutely beautiful and welcoming. Newest follower from HickoryTrail
I host a linky party every tuesday, would love for you to link up!
Thank you Gina for stopping by and hosting the party! I have enjoyed it ALL week! FYI, the pillow is from Home Goods 🙂
Thanks Christy! So many things that are started, just need to be finished. I’m thinking you had the right idea…I need to get the kids on board to help 🙂
Your entire home is so pretty! That little bicycle pillow tugs at my heart more than just a bit…
Thank you for joining the home tour!
It looks so beautiful and inviting, friend! Can’t wait to see everything up your sleeve!
Hey Allison! The B is bought from Hobby Lobby in the craft section. I just cut the scrapbook paper to fit and Mod Podge it on.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Sonya
